METALLICA's Stockholm Shows Sell Out In Less Than 30 Minutes

According to Ticnet, the largest ticketing company in the Nordic region of Europe for events and travel, tickets to METALLICA's March 7 and March 8, 2009 headlining concerts at Globen in Stockholm were sold out within 30 minutes after they went on sale this morning (Monday, October 20).

METALLICA performed the first single from "Death Magnetic", "The Day That Never Comes", at last Thursday's (October 16) annual "Los Premios MTV Latinoamérica 2008" in Guadalajara, Mexico. The awards, which were held inside the Auditorio Telmex, aired live on MTV Tr3's.

METALLICA's Lars Ulrich and Kirk Hammett will guest on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" with host Bob Coburn tonight (Monday, October 20) at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET. Fans are encouraged to speak with the group by calling 1-800-344-ROCK (7625). (Note: Contrary to a previous announcement, the band will **NOT** be performing on the program.)
